The Cocoon Leather hang chair was designed by Rikke Gjørlund and is handmade. The hanging chair consists of an aluminium frame and is woven with vegetable leather. It creates a light and elegant look. You can mount the chair in the ceiling with the attached rope or hang it from the sturdy beam.

The leathers tanning is affected by means of extraction from plants, bark and fruit falling etc. Vegetable-tanned leather is very susceptible to dirt and stains. Most vegetable leather will get “patina” and darken over time, others become lighter (fade).

Please note that the Cocoon leather is crafted on request. The lead time is between 5 and 8 weeks.
