Kay Bojesen Songbird Nightingale aqua
The choir of Kay Bojesen songbirds has a new, winged member. It’s not any voice that now contributes to the troupe, but a Nightingale with a charming and beautiful voice that fills everyone with joy and amazement as it flies around the world.
The Nightingale is created in collaboration with the new H.C. Andersen museum, opening in the summer of 2021, and is inspired by the world-famous literary fairytale about the tiny bird with the impressive voice. Kay Bojesen always designed with the child in mind, and the adventurous nature of the Nightingale is perfectly in line with Kay Bojesen’s playful spirit and the storytelling he famously incorporated when he designed his wooden figurines - simplistic yet full of life.
In the fairytale the emperor is mesmerised by the beautiful voice of the Nightingale. Chances are that the new songbird will mesmerise Kay Bojesen and H.C. Andersen fans of all ages too.
