In the late 1940s, Kay Bojesen designed the two happy skiers. The happy skier girl, with red cheeks and big smile, is named Datti, who was nicknamed Kay Bojesen's sister-in-law Ruth (married to Otto). The male skier, Boje, is named after the nickname of Bojesen's son, Otto. The original wooden figures are quite rare, as they are only produced in small series. With their cheerful expression, the two skiers always bring a smile to their lips, and with this relaunch, they are ready to take in the Danish living rooms and home again. The two skiers are produced in painted beech, in the same way as the Garderen. The skiers measure 15.5 cm in height.
